Oh Happy Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday, I'm ALIVE!








After 2000 hours of beauty school I have finally made it through! Last Saturday to be exact. It has taken me a few days to recoop. Now I just have to make it through state boards and I will be on my way to the real world.
Things on my to do list:

• Find a job.... there may already be one in the works. :)
• Spend lots of time with my little guy!
• Work on my crafty projects
• Possibly start an etsy shop?
• Post my graduation pictures

Hooray for fresh starts and new possibilities!

P.S. I really am super excited. I know I don't look it, but I am still just so exhausted!!

It has been a loooong time since I have last blogged. I think a year? haha. So here is the last year, Reader's Digest Version.

Started beauty school.

Grandparents retired and moved away. Sad!

Erika's last year of high school.

Matthew turned 2!

Cut my hair super short. Ick.

And am now growing it out.....ha.

Brother and sister-in-law are having a baby! Yay for first time aunts!

Searching for the perfect pumpkin. It took all of about 5 seconds to find one. So stinkin' cold and windy that day!

Dance Party

Last night we had the most amazing cleaning/dance party we've had in a while! Things have been pretty busy here and our house has exploded from the holidays. What better way to clean things up?

Mattycakes and I are starting to get a cold so he wasn't quite up to par.

Performances Galore!

Frila's choir concert last night went great! She did an amazing job singing...she is one of the loudest sopranos! I wish I would have had time to do her hair in a fancy updo. I didn't even think about it! I will have to just remember for next time. Tomorrow night is her christmas dance recital. I won't be able to make it because of the day job. I'll just have to watch the video when I get home. Bummer! Frila, sorry I can't make it....break a leg!

9 more days until Christmas!

Only 9 more days until Christmas (not including today) and our house is not even ready! Tomorrow will be filled with a cram glitz and glam session to try and get ready. On the agenda for tomorrow... make and hang stockings, try and make gluten free gingerbread cookies, backyard sledding, hot cocoa, Frila's choir concert.
On the agenda for today....visit lawyer and finalize papers, hang outdoor twinkle lights, the day job.

Testing, testing, 1..2..3..

I am very new at blogging so this might be short...or random. ha ha.
Things I did today...

• cleaned house. (only to have the little man cub dirty it up again)
• didn't put up the real Christmas tree yet. the fake one is already up in the basement.
  
• made an amazing two layer pumpkin cheesecake pie. (thank you for the recipe Kandee Johnson!!)
  
• spent less than thirty minutes in the grocery store.
• wrapped half of the Christmas presents.
• online shopped and bought a bazillion black pants and white shirts for school.
  
• started my first blog.

Tomorrow will be filled with work and lots of laundry. Today was a lovely day off though.
